§ 18. Records of bonded indebtedness. The comptroller shall maintain current records indicating the outstanding bonded indebtedness of the State and of all State agencies, setting out the State agency incurring the indebtedness, whether general obligation or revenue bonds, the amount of the outstanding indebtedness, maturity schedules, interest rates and such other information as may be required for professional, accurate and current accounting. The treasurer of the State of Illinois shall report to the comptroller each month changes in such outstanding general obligation bonded indebtedness. The comptroller shall maintain similar current records on the amount of authorized indebtedness on which debt has not been incurred.
