Illinois Statutes Chapter 15. Executive Officers § 405/10.16. Refusal to draw and issue replacement warrant; action in Court of Claims; limitations

§ 10.16. If the comptroller refuses to draw and issue a replacement warrant under Section 10.10, persons who are entitled under Section 10.10 to request a replacement warrant may file an action in the Court of Claims for the payment of the sum indicated due on the warrant. For the purpose of the limitations prescribed in Section 22 of “An Act to create the Court of Claims, to prescribe its powers and duties, and to repeal an Act herein named”, filed July 17, 1945, as now or hereafter amended,  1 the actions created in this Section shall accrue from the date of the Comptroller's refusal.
