Illinois Statutes Chapter 15. Executive Officers § 405/10.11. Credits for treasurer's account for canceled warrants; receipts for returned warrants

§ 10.11. The comptroller shall credit the treasurer's account with the amount of canceled warrants returned to him by the treasurer at appropriate intervals but at least once each month. The comptroller shall give the treasurer a receipt for such returned warrants, and shall keep a record of the date of their cancellation.
