§ 3-16. The academic term of community college districts shall be determined by the community college board in accordance with rules adopted by the State Board. However, days within such term designated for the purpose of enrollment, testing, orientation or examination of students and all days on which scheduled classes are held shall be considered as days of student attendance. Classes may be held on Saturdays, notwithstanding any other provisions of this Act.
