§ 6.5. Corn to ethanol. The Board shall operate and manage the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Pilot Plant for the purpose of reducing the costs of producing ethanol through the development and commercialization of new production technologies, equipment, processes, feedstocks, and new value added co-products and by-products. This work shall be conducted under the review and guidance of the Illinois Ethanol Research Advisory Board. The ethanol production research shall be conducted at the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Pilot Plant in cooperation with other universities, industry, State agencies, and the federal government.
