§ 1. For the purposes of this Act:
(a) “State-supported institution of higher learning” means the University of Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Chicago State University, Eastern Illinois University, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Western Illinois University, and the public community colleges subject to the Public Community College Act. 1
(b) “Policy on Demonstrations” means an outline of rules and regulations to maintain order on the campus of an institution of higher learning in this State which gives special attention to firmness, to insuring that the civil rights of others are not infringed and to establishment of a step by step approach to secure the reasonable operation of university or college activities in case of any disruptive activity.
