§ 34-81. Interest on fund. Neither the treasurer nor any other officer having the custody of public school funds is entitled to retain any interest accruing thereon, but such interest shall accrue and inure to the benefit of such funds respectively, become a part thereof and be paid into the city treasury, subject to the purposes of this Act.
