§ 34-78. Money kept separate--Unlawful use. The school treasurer shall keep all moneys in his hands belonging to the board separate from his own moneys, and shall not use, either directly or indirectly, the school moneys or warrants in his custody and keeping for his own use and benefit or that of any other person. If the school treasurer violates this section, the city council may immediately remove him from office and declare his office vacant.
