§ 24-12.1. Rights of recalled teachers. Any teacher on contractual continued service who is removed or dismissed as a result of a decision of the board to decrease the number of teachers employed by the board or to discontinue some particular type of teaching service and who accepts the tender of a vacancy within one calendar year from the beginning of the following school term pursuant to Section 24-12 shall lose no rights which accrued while in contractual continued service.
