§ 10-22.6b. Non-disclosure of information. Except as otherwise provided in the “Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act” 1 or other applicable State or federal law, to permit school officials to withhold, from any person, information on the whereabouts of any child removed from school premises when the child has been taken into protective custody as a victim of suspected child abuse. School officials shall direct such person to the Department of Children and Family Services, or to the local law enforcement agency if appropriate.
