§ 50. Lawful expense of school district. Each member shall have full power and authority to appropriate money from its operation and maintenance fund, by whatever name now or hereafter known, for the payment of the expenses of the agency and of its representative in exercising its functions as a member of the agency, which expenses may include payment of principal of and interest on bonds of the agency for a period not greater than 40 years after the dated date of any bonds. Each member shall have full power and authority, subject to the provisions of applicable law, to agree to the issuance and delivery of school district bonds to aid the agency.
