§ 6. (a) Except as provided in Section 7 below, for the 1986-87 academic year and for each academic year thereafter, no art or craft material which is a toxic substance as defined in this Act, shall be ordered or purchased by any school or school district in Illinois for use in kindergarten or grades one through 6, inclusive.
(b) Commencing June 1, 1986, no toxic substance may be purchased or ordered by a school or school district for use by students in grades 7 through 12, unless it meets the labeling standards specified in this Act.
