§ 9. State Funding. Funding sources for State funding with respect to costs of corrective action shall include appropriations from the General Revenue Fund, proceeds from litigation against manufacturers, distributors and contractors of asbestos products, funds provided under the provisions of the federal Asbestos School Hazard Abatement Act of 1984, 1 or any combination thereof. The Department shall request appropriations from any of these funds based on its review of school funding needs and include such in its annual budget request.
