§ 16-10. The judges of election shall cause not less than one of such cards to be posted in each voting booth provided for the preparation of ballots, and not less than four of such cards to be posted in and about the polling places upon the day of election. In every county of not more than 500,000 inhabitants, each election authority shall cause to be published, prior to the day of any election, in at least two newspapers, if there be so many published in such county, a list of all the nominations made as in this Act provided and to be voted for at such election, as near as may be, in the form in which they shall appear upon the general ballot; provided that this requirement shall not apply with respect to any consolidated primary for which the local election official is required to make the publication under Section 7-21.
