All property of the authority is public property exempt from all taxes and special assessments of the state or a municipality. All bonds issued under this chapter are issued by a body corporate and politic of this state, and the bonds and the interest and income on and from the bonds and their transfer, and all fees, charges, funds, revenues, interest, income and other moneys or property received by the authority from or in connection with municipal bonds or other assets or operations of the authority, are exempt from every kind of taxation by the state or a municipality.
