No payment by lottery game retailers to the state lottery for tickets or shares shall be in cash. All such payments shall be in the form of a check, bank draft, electronic fund transfer, or other recorded financial instrument as prescribed by commission rule. The director may require lottery game retailers to deposit to the credit of the state lottery, in financial institutions designated by the director, money received by lottery game retailers from sale of tickets and/or shares, less the amount of compensation, if any, authorized under section 67-7414, Idaho Code, and to file with the state lottery reports of receipts and transactions in the sale of tickets in the form and containing the information the commission requires.
