Idaho Statutes Title 54. Professions, Vocations, and Businesses § 54-908. State board of dentistry--Vacancies

(1) The governor may consider recommendations for appointment to the board from the Idaho state dental association and from any individual residing in this state. For the purposes of nominations and appointments, the state shall be divided by the association into four (4) components and nominations and appointments to the board shall be made in such a manner that each component shall be represented on the board by one (1) dentist member.

(2) The governor may also consider recommendations for appointment to the board from the Idaho dental hygienists' association and from any individual residing in this state. For the purposes of appointments, the state shall be divided by the Idaho dental hygienists' association into two (2) components and appointments to the board shall be made in such a manner that each component shall be represented on the board by one (1) dental hygienist member.
