(1) A licensed physical therapist shall supervise and be responsible for patient care given by physical therapist assistants and supportive personnel. A physical therapist who delegates tasks or procedures that fall within the scope of the practice of physical therapy shall supervise such tasks and procedures in conformance with administrative rules adopted by the board.
(2) A physical therapist shall adhere to the policies and procedures that delineate the functions, responsibilities and supervisory relationships of physical therapist assistants and supportive personnel as established by the board, on the advice and counsel of the committee, in the board's administrative rules.
