Hawaii Revised Statutes Division 5. Crimes and Criminal Proceedings § 834-4

Any person who escapes from lawful custody in another state while being held pursuant to the Agreement on Detainers may be charged with escape under chapter 740  1 and sentenced to a term of imprisonment not to exceed three years.
