The department of health shall cause all reports made in accordance with the provisions of section 325-71, and also all results of examinations showing the presence of the bacilli of tuberculosis, made in accordance with section 325-72, to be recorded in a register. The register shall remain in the care, custody, and control of the department. The department may disclose the contents of any such report or record to relatives or officials of social and welfare organizations in the State. The information disclosed to such officials shall not be divulged by them so as to disclose the identity of any person to whom it relates.
Any person who violates this section shall be fined not more than $1,000.
