Georgia Code Title 45. Public Officers and Employees § 45-9-84.3

(1) To pay the appropriate indemnification to the persons eligible for indemnification under this part from the proceeds of the Georgia State Indemnification Fund;

(2) To make such payments as may be necessary to defray the expenses and costs incurred by the department in administering this part; and

(3) To utilize the resources of the Georgia State Indemnification Fund to purchase insurance to provide for such indemnification.
