A memorandum of agreement will be developed between the Department of Environmental Protection and the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission which will detail the responsibilities of the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute to the department, to include, at a minimum, the following services:
(1) Environmental monitoring and assessment.
(2) Restoration research and development of restoration technology.
(3) Technical support and response for oil spills, ship groundings, major marine species die-offs, hazardous spills, and natural disasters.
