The Division of Recreation and Parks is authorized to issue a senior/disabled citizen camping permit. This permit shall be available free of charge to Florida citizens who are at least 65 years of age or older or Florida citizens possessing a current social security disability award certificate or a 100 percent disability award certificate from the Federal Government. The permit shall allow the person named and one companion to receive a 50 percent discount on current base campsite fees at Florida state parks.
