The district school board shall maintain a complete record of all bonds issued under the provisions of this chapter, which record shall show upon what authority the bonds are issued, the amount for which issued, the persons to whom issued, the date of issuance, the purpose or purposes for which issued, the rate of interest to be paid, and the time and place of payment of each installment of principal and interest. This record shall be so arranged as to show the amount of principal and interest to be paid each year and shall also show the annual or semiannual payments which are made and the bonds which are canceled. In addition, the district school superintendent shall file with the Department of Education in accordance with rules of the State Board of Education reports giving such information as may be required regarding any bonds which may be issued as provided herein.
