It shall be the duty of every hospital licensed under the laws of this state to display prominently in the lobby or waiting area of its emergency room posters giving notification of the existence and general provisions of this chapter. The Department of Legal Affairs shall provide posters, application forms, and general information regarding the provisions of this chapter to each hospital licensed to operate in this state and to each law enforcement agency.
