The following persons who are elected or appointed to serve the county or municipality in which the county or municipal detention facility is located may visit such facility at their pleasure:
(1) Members of the governing body of the county or municipality.
(2) Members of the Legislature.
(3) State court judges.
(4) The state attorney.
(5) The public defender.
(6) The regional counsel.
