If the person whose case is transferred is at liberty on bond or on his or her own recognizance, the appearance date for arraignment to the court to which the cause has been transferred shall be within 45 days from the date of transfer, and, if the defendant is on his or her own recognizance, the defendant shall sign an agreement to appear before the court to which the case is transferred as a part of his or her petition to transfer. If the defendant is at liberty on a cash or property bond, the clerk of the transferring court shall endorse the new returnable date on its face prior to transfer.
