Florida Statutes Title XLVI. Crimes § 817.16. False reports, etc., by officers of banks, trust companies, etc., with intent to defraud

Any officer, director, agent or clerk of any bank, trust company, building and loan association, small loan licensee, credit union, or other corporation under the supervision of the Office of Financial Regulation of the Financial Services Commission or formerly the Department of Banking and Finance, who willfully and knowingly subscribes or exhibits any false paper with intent to deceive any person authorized to examine as to the records of such bank, trust company, building and loan association, small loan licensee, credit union, or other corporation under the supervision of the Office of Financial Regulation or formerly the Department of Banking and Finance, or willfully and knowingly subscribes to or makes any false reports to the Office of Financial Regulation or subscribed to or made any such false report to the Department of Banking and Finance or causes to be published any false report, shall be guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
