For administrative convenience, the board of county commissioners, in the exercise of the powers hereby conferred and those powers otherwise conferred, may be referred to as the county port authority or any other appropriate title duly adopted by resolution of the board of county commissioners. However, in counties to which ss. 125.011-125.019 apply which counties have adopted, or may hereafter adopt, a home rule form of government and which create or establish thereunder a port authority to conveniently administer the business and exercise the powers provided for in ss. 125.011-125.019, the words “port authority” shall apply wherever the words “county” or “board of county commissioners” are used, and such authority may exercise all the powers granted under ss. 125.011-125.019.
