An eligible former employee may obtain health insurance coverage under s. 110.123, and enroll in the state group insurance program at any time within 24 months after his or her separation from employment. The options provided to an eligible former employee must be the same health insurance coverage and premium payment conditions provided to covered retirees, except for life insurance and flexible spending account plans.
