The marshal shall, under the direction of the Supreme Court, be custodian of the Supreme Court Building and grounds and shall keep the same clean, sanitary, and free of trespassers and marauders and shall maintain the same in good state of repair and cause the grounds to be beautified and preserved against depredations and trespasses.
