Maps of the several representative and senatorial districts shall be prepared by the respective departments of elections of each county. The maps shall be certified as to correctness by the president and director of the respective departments of elections and recorded in the offices of the recorder of deeds for the respective counties. Two true and correct copies of these maps shall also be filed, not later than January 1, 2022, in the respective county departments of elections, with the State Election Commissioner, the respective state chairpersons of the 2 major political parties and the State Archivist and Records Administrator.
