The rules shall provide for an automatic interview for an applicant who is a casual seasonal employee working in the division and section, performing the same job duties as the posted merit position, provided the casual seasonal employee meets the minimum qualifications and any preferential or selective qualifications included in the posting and the casual seasonal employee may be given preference in the hiring process.
