(a) No motor vehicle for which a Junk Vehicle Certificate has been issued shall be titled or registered by the Department.
(b) Ownership of a motor vehicle for which a Junk Vehicle Certificate has been issued may only be transferred once.
(c) Whenever a motor vehicle has been flattened, baled, shredded, or otherwise destroyed, the motor vehicle title or Junk Vehicle Certificate for the vehicle shall be surrendered to the Department within 30 days of the destruction. If the destroyed vehicle is titled in another state, the Department shall inform the titling state of the surrender of the title or Junk Vehicle Certificate and of the vehicle's destruction.
