District of Columbia Code Division VIII. General Laws. § 47-1819. Application and Mayoral certification.

<Text of section applicable upon the date of inclusion of its fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan.>

(a) Before a taxpayer may claim a credit pursuant this subchapter, the taxpayer must apply to the Mayor requesting approval.

(b) If a taxpayer's application is approved in accordance with this subchapter, the Mayor shall certify to the Chief Financial Officer the following on before December 1 of the calendar year following the end of the fiscal year in which the credit was approved:

(1) The name and taxpayer identification number of the eligible taxpayer;

(2) The address of the eligible property (including square and lot);

(3) That the eligible taxpayer's application in accordance with this section was approved;

(4) The date the substantial rehabilitation was completed;

(5) That the eligible taxpayer sold the property to a qualifying homeowner;

(6) The total amount of the eligible development costs incurred by the eligible taxpayer;

(7) The total amount of the credit approved for the eligible taxpayer;  and

(8) Any other information requested by the Chief Financial Officer.
