District of Columbia Code Division VIII. General Laws. § 47-1395. Foreclosure proceedings.

<Text of section applicable upon the date of inclusion of its fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan.>

(a)(1) If a hearing is scheduled, any interested party has the right to be heard and contest the delinquency of the taxes or the adequacy of the proceedings.

(2) The hearing described in paragraph (1) of this subsection shall occur at least 30 days after the filing of the complaint and 60 days from the date of the order of publication.

(b) A guardian ad litem shall be appointed to serve for all interested parties who are or may be minors, or who have been adjudicated incompetent at the date of filing such a list.
