(a) No later than 180 days after October 1, 2024, the Mayor shall launch a campaign to raise awareness and educate the public about changes to the tipped minimum wage brought about by § 32-1003.
(b) The campaign shall:
(1) Include the preparation of written and electronic materials that state in plain language the changes brought about by § 32-1003;
(2) Ensure that workers, residents, businesses, tourists, and other interested parties are aware of the changes brought about by § 32-1003, and what consumers and businesses can expect in terms of implementation and any changes to existing practices and behaviors; and
(3) Be conducted in English and any non-English language spoken by a limited or no-English proficient population that constitutes 3% or 500 individuals, whichever is less, of the population impacted, or expected to be impacted, of the changes brought about by § 32-1003.
