(a) At any time prior to a primary held before April 1, 2024, and pursuant to sections 9-423, 9-425 and 9-464, or a special act, or prior to any election held before April 1, 2024, the Superior Court may issue an order removing a candidate from a ballot where it is shown that such candidate is improperly on the ballot.
(b) At any time prior to the commencement of the period of early voting at a primary held on or after April 1, 2024, and pursuant to sections 9-423, 9-425 and 9-464, or a special act, or prior to the commencement of the period of early voting at any election held on or after April 1, 2024, the Superior Court may issue an order removing a candidate from a ballot where it is shown that such candidate is improperly on the ballot.
