Whenever the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority or its subsidiary is a successor owner of housing previously owned by a housing authority under part II 1 or part VI 2 of this chapter, the authority or its successor shall be subject to the requirements of and operate such housing in compliance with all provisions of the general statutes applicable to the operation or disposition of such housing by a housing authority.
