The Department of Housing shall develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all assisted housing, as defined in section 8-30g, in the state. The inventory shall identify all existing assisted rental units by type and funding source, and include, but not be limited to, information on tenant eligibility, rents charged, available subsidies, occupancy and vacancy rates, waiting lists and accessibility features. In order to assist the department in the completion of the inventory, all owners of such housing units, both public and private, shall report accessible housing units to the database established and maintained under section 8-119x.
