Each municipal and volunteer fire department shall maintain (1) the pump and aerial components of such department's fire apparatus in compliance with the inspection, maintenance and testing requirements of standard 1911 of the National Fire Protection Association, and (2) such fire department's apparatus in compliance with the requirements of 49 CFR 393, Subparts A to E, inclusive, G and J, as amended from time to time, 49 CFR 396.1 to 396.25, inclusive, as amended from time to time, and 49 CFR Chapter III, Subchapter B, Appendix G, as amended from time to time.
