Upon compliance with the provisions of sections 7-136d and 7-136e and after receipt of the advisory comments prepared by the Departments of Economic and Community Development, Environmental Protection and Transportation, a municipality may apply to the board, established by said federal Foreign-Trade Zones Act 1 for a grant of the privilege of establishing, operating and maintaining a foreign trade zone.
