(a) For proceedings in the Superior Court on family relations matters as described in section 46b-1, there shall be a presumption that courtroom proceedings shall be open to the public and that documents filed with the court shall be available to the public. Closure of the courtroom in family relations matters and the sealing of files and limited disclosure of documents in family relations matters shall be in accordance with the requirements prescribed in the Connecticut Practice Book.
(b) For proceedings in Juvenile Court, access to records is governed by section 46b-124.
(c) For proceedings in the Probate Court, members of the public may observe proceedings and may view court records, unless otherwise provided by law or directed by the court.
