Auxiliary members who are spouses of members or surviving spouses of former deceased members of any club specified in subsection (g) of section 30-22a or section 30-22aa which holds a permit under the provisions of this chapter may be allowed to participate in all the privileges of such club, by vote of such club's members, and shall not be considered guests for purposes of the general statutes or provisions of the regulations of Connecticut state agencies adopted by the Department of Consumer Protection.
