Connecticut General Statutes Title 13B. Transportation § 13b-325. Operation of motor buses

Any railroad company operating a railroad in the state may apply to the Department of Transportation for certificates of public convenience and necessity pursuant to the provisions of chapter 244  1 and, subject to the provisions thereof, so far as the same may be applicable, may acquire, own and operate motor vehicles for the purpose of carrying passengers for hire upon the highways of the state at a fixed individual or per capita fare and for the purpose of transporting property for hire upon such highways.
