Not later than August 1, 2021, the Department of Education shall assemble a list of persons who may perform the function of reentry coordinator. The department shall distribute the list to the Departments of Correction and Children and Families and the Court Support Services Division of the Judicial Branch and any parent or other person interested in receiving such list. The Department of Education shall review and update such list annually. The Department of Education shall post such list on the department's Internet web site. Local and regional boards of education shall use a reentry coordinator from the list to obtain records of children in juvenile justice facilities and assist in transfer of the records to the facility. Any local or regional board of education for a district in which fewer than six thousand students are enrolled may designate an employee to perform the functions of a reentry coordinator.
