(1) All funds received by the division under the provisions of this article shall be used solely to pay the costs related to the administration of the medical disaster insurance fund and to defray the cost of medical, surgical, and hospital expenses necessary to effect the recovery, alleviate pain, or reduce the disability of employees who have established their entitlement to disability benefits under the “Workers' Compensation Act of Colorado” in accordance with and subject to the provisions of such act.
(2) Moneys in the medical disaster insurance fund are continuously appropriated to the division for the payment of benefits as provided in this section and legal fees.
