(1) When an operations permit is issued by the commission pursuant to section 37-90.5-106(1)(b)(II) and a use permit is issued by the state engineer pursuant to section 37-90.5-107(1), the commission and the state engineer shall coordinate to:
(a) Ensure that any applicable requirements of the commission and the state engineer are met; and
(b) Determine whether an accounting for the use and reinjection of geothermal fluid pursuant to the applicable permit may be submitted to only the commission or only the state engineer.
