(2) “Local ombudsman” means an individual trained and designated as qualified by the state long-term care
ombudsman to act as a representative of the office of the state long-term care ombudsman.
(2.5) “Local PACE ombudsman” means the person or persons trained and designated as qualified by the state PACE
ombudsman to serve in areas of the state where PACE programs are operated and to act
as a representative of the office of the state PACE ombudsman.
