Subject to provisions of section 13-25-115, C.R.S., documents from the office of secretary of state used in court proceedings shall be acknowledged, exemplified, verified, or attested to in a manner which shall make unnecessary the personal appearance of the secretary of state in a court proceeding to acknowledge, exemplify, verify, or attest to the validity of such documents. The secretary of state may designate a person to attend court proceedings if the secretary of state is subpoenaed for the purpose of acknowledging, exemplifying, verifying, or attesting to the validity of documents furnished by that office. The revenues derived from fees as established in section 24-21-104(1) shall be deposited in the department of state cash fund created in section 24-21-104(3).
